Test principle

CK-MB is the bound combination of two variants (isoenzymes CK-M and CK-B) of the enzyme phosphocreatine kinase. In the test, CKM is suppressed by sheep anti human CK-M antibody, while MK-B is free from the suppression. CK-MB level is twice as much as that of the measured CK-B.

Storage and stability

Unopened: Store test kits at 2 - 8℃ protected from light. Stable to expiration date printed on individual vials (for 15 months).

Opened: Store test kits at 2 - 8℃ protected from light. Stable for 1 month if kept capped from original container and free from contamination.
