The direct bilirubin (D-Bil) test kit provides a convenient and accurate measurement of concentration of D-Bil, also called conjugated bilirubin, in human plasma.

Test principle

In the presence of surfactant and indirect bilirubin inhibitors, bilirubin can be oxidized by sodium nitrate and converted into biliverdin, which leads to a decrease in absorbance at 450 nm. Total bilirubin concentrations can be calculated from the absorbance change measured at 450 nm.

3.    Sensitivity

The change in absorbance (ΔmA) ≥ 0.30 while testing the specific D-Bil sample of concentration of 47 μmol/L.

Relative deviation is within ±10%.

Intra CV% ≤ 5.0%; inter CV% ≤5.0%.

Opened: Store test kits at 2 - 8℃ protected from light. Stable for 1 month if kept capped from original container and free from contamination.

Do not freeze the test kit.
