Test principle
In this test kit, soluble L-γ-glutamyl-3-carboxyl-p-nitroaniline (Glupac) serves as a substrate, and glycyglycine is designed to be a receptor of γ-glutamyl. γ-glutamyl can be transferred to glycyglycine molecules when catalyzed by GGT, producing yellow-colored 3-hydroxyl-p-nitroaniline. The reaction can induce an increase of absorbance at 405 nm, and the increasing rate is proportional to the activity of GGT.
